Born in Hardenberg in 2000, Max Weering was raised with a great passion for racing. He was just three years old when he got into a go-kart for the first time. Max’ dad used to be involved in motorsports, so Max grew up on the racetrack and cars became a big part of his life from a young age on. That special time on the track with family and friends has taught Max several valuable life lessons like: “If you put in the MAXIMUM effort, you can reach every goal!’
At age 17, Max made the switch from karting to racing cars and his career has been going full throttle ever since, finishing first in the Zilhouette Cup 2018. And more recently, winning the first Supercar Challenge 2019 at Magny Cours.
Max is currently a member of the Johan Kraan Motorsports team where he drives his amazing Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO in the Supercar Challenge 2019. His love for speed and racing comes together in his dream to race in the DTM.
With an unguarded grin and a healthy dose of self-deprecation, Weering says that when he’s off the track, you can find him cracking jokes and relaxing with his friends. “But when I need to, I can get very serious, and I’m very committed to achieve my goals. But overall, I think it is really important to enjoy my life and make a lot of fun with my friends and family!”
